Canapes

- the perfect party food

Canapes are the perfect stress-free party food. Our two-bite canapes are visually tempting, stylish and full of flavour. Canapes are also the perfect answer to cater for vegetarian requirements

 

Offering something to tease and please every palette, we are known for our stylish canapes. Here's a sample list - we refresh our offering seasonally and as always we can create a bespoke menu to your requirements:

 

Meat & Poultry

  • Filo cone filled with pulled pork and sweet potato with homemade BBQ sauce (warm)
  • Slow cooked beef with horseradish and jerusalem artichoke puree and black garlic on a potato rosti (warm)
  • Moroccan lamb kofte and smoked aubergine puree, minted yoghurt and pomegranate (warm)
  • Mini yorkshire puddings with fillet of beef and horseradish cream
  • Pulled pork bon-bon with homemade chilli sauce (warm)
  • Za'atar chicken in a llittle gem cup witth pomegranate and sumac yoghurt
  • Mini peking duck pancakes
  • Satay chicken skewers
  • Duck breast served with cherry and beetroot gel on a beetroot crisp

 

Fish & Shellfish

  • Beetroot and vodka marinaded gravadlax on a blini with horseradish cream (GF)

  • Hot smoked mackerel and anchovy '99' cones with a cucumber flake

  • Tiger prawn skewers with thyme, almonds and garlic dip (warm) (GF)

  • Lightly spiced fresh crab with lemon puree served on a brioche topped with lobster bisque jelly

  • Smoked salmon with celeriac mousse and dill sauce in a choux bun

  • Anchovy waffle topped with smoked trout and Chantilly cream

  • Smoked salmon with wasabi crème fraiche and seaweed ‘caviar’ in a filo basket

  • Fennel biscuits with cured mackerel, rhubarb and tarragon

  • Spicy salmon fishcakes with homemade tartare sauce


Vegetarian

  • Truffled brioche cube with mushroom puree and a parmesan crisp (warm)

  • Sweetcorn and lime waffle with tomato salsa and corn puree

  • Mint and pea cheese on parmesan spoons with roasted tomato

  • Beetroot arancini with horseradish dip (warm)

  • Artichoke and parmesan filo with lemon mayonnaise dip

  • Baked ricotta on beetroot bread with tapenade

  • Feta, sundried tomato and leek samosas (warm)

  • Sweet potato, red onion and cheese frittata with basil oil (GF)

Vegan

  • Quinoa and avocado sushi (GF) 
  • Rice cracker topped with edamame, tarragon and lemon puree
  • Watermelon cubes, shipped tofu, sumac olives and basil
  • Mushroom parfait in a za'tar tuille with pickled mushroom parfait

  • Mini mince pies with orange pastry and a streusel topping

  • Cinnamon tartlets with almonds and poached apple

  • Chocolate crinkle cookies dusted with icing sugar

Guidelines: for our 2-bite canapes we recommend

  • 5 canapes is the equivalent to a Starter dish
  • Drinks party - allow 8-12 canapes per head
  • 14 TRUFFLEhound canapes are the equivalent of a meal
